Flo Hoylman has been experimenting with fiber arts and crafts for most of her life.
She moved to the houseboat community seven years ago, and started creating felt jewelry, other fun felt sculptures and wearable art about four years ago. She loves the tactile sensations of working with wool and works with colors and images that make her happy. Learning about how wool becomes felt and how to manipulate fibers bring her joy.
Flo's work is a combination of water and needle felting. Many of her pieces have won prizes in the Marin County Fair.
